  • The sooner you start the recovery process, the better are your chances to fully recover the lost files

  • You should not install the program on the disk you are going to recover files from. For instance, if you are recovering data from your "C" drive, install the product into a folder on your "D" drive

  • If possible, save then install the Hetman installation program on a drive other than the one on which your files were lost

  • Do not reboot the system after the installation is complete - this will give you better chances of recovering the lost files

  • Do not use you camera's memory card or any other drive with lost files until they are recovered
